The Wilsonville Garden Club is holding their annual swag sale Saturday at the Wilsonville Public Library's Oak Room.
The sale is to raise money for a scholarship for a horticulture students at Clackamas Community College.
"One hundred percent of the money we raise goes to the scholarship," said Nancy Larson, one of the organizers of the event.
The sale runs from 9 a.m. until all of the Christmas centerpieces and swags -- decorative wall hangings much like wreaths -- are gone.
Friday about 35 people worked in the Oak Room, making the swags and centerpieces.
"I didn't think I could make one, but they showed us how and it was really fun," said Joyce Rawlinson, who was in charge of the event. "We are doing this to raise money."
Swags are about $15, center pieces run anywhere from $13 to $15 and decor
ative mugs are $5.
"It's less expensive than you can get from the grocery store or the nurseries and it's for a good cause," Larson said.
