Villebois is earning recognition throughout the country – the Wilsonville community is a finalist for Community of the Year and eight other categories at the National Association of Home Builders’ The NationalsSM Awards.

Community of the Year is the highest honor given through The Nationals. Villebois received a Silver Award in that category and eight others, including Best Product Design of an Attached Home Plan for two homes, Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Priced under $500,000, and several categories for both internet and print marketing.

Silver Awards go to the top vote recipients in each category, considered finalists for the Gold Awards, announced and presented Jan. 19, 2010 in Las Vegas at the International Builders’ Show.

“The Nationals signify the best of the best in new homes and communities and we are honored to be recognized among the top builders and developers in the country. Orenco Station is the only ... community in the Northwest to have ever won the Community of the Year award, so having Villebois nominated is especially sweet,” Rudy Kadlub, CEO of Villebois builder Costa Pacific, said in a press release.

Orenco Station, a Hillsboro community that was named Community of the Year in 1999, was also designed by Costa Pacific. The company is the most awarded builder/developer in the Northwest region.

Based on the intimacy and character of traditional European villages, the Villebois Village Center features a range of home styles and other uses: condominiums, row houses, apartments and mixed use buildings with ground level retail and residential or office space above. The Piazza Villebois, a dedicated community space and plaza, will serve as the heart of the Villebois Village Center and be the future site of community events and other activities.
