John K. Brumfield
John K. Brumfield, 69, died Nov. 29, 2009 in Lake Oswego.
He was born on April 14, 1940, and  grew up in places such as Florida, Texas, and California before settling in Oregon in 1969.  He graduated from San Leandro High School in San Leandro, Calif., in 1958.
Following high school, Brumfield served in the U.S. Navy. He later became a police officer and a legal investigator.
He married Karen on Nov. 8, 1959. His hobbies included playing guitar, motorcycles, flying and gambling. He was a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators.
He is survived by his wife, Karen of Lake Oswego; daughters, Lisa Willett of Wilsonville and Kerri Skygard of Lake Oswego; son, JJ Brumfield; nine grandsons.
A memorial service took place Dec. 4 at Community of Hope Lutheran Church in Wilsonville.

Photobucket Charles W. Wigger
Charles W. (Chuck) Wigger of Wilsonville, died Nov. 29, 2009 at Meridian Park Hospital, due to complications from Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 61 years old.
He was born April 13, 1948, in Parma, Idaho, to Cecil and Esther Wigger.  He moved to Prosser, Wash., in 1958, where he graduated from high school. He played football and passed his love of sports on to his children. He served in the U.S. Navy as a sonar technician tracking Soviet submarines in the North Atlantic during the height of the cold war. He studied art and business in college and pursued a career in sales management.
He married Janie Rae Teryll on Dec. 19, 1971. His hobbies included fly fishing, football and being with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; daughters, Kacie, Kelcie and Halie; son, Kris, Nick; four grandchildren; brother, Ron of Wilsonville; sisters, Sharron Parsons of Prosser, Wash., and Toni Barnett of Devil’s Lake, N.D.

Jeff Kluken, 35, of Molalla, died Dec. 3, 2009.
He was born on July 9, 1974, in Freemont, Neb., son of the late Kenneth Kluken, and Diane and Terry Janowitz.
He grew up in Oregon City, graduating from Oregon City High School in 1992.
Kluken married Destiny Rowlett on Sept. 4, 1994. He was a warehouse lead at Coca-Cola for 12 years and was a member of Teamsters Local 162.
He was an active member of the Beavercreek Softball Association and was a softball coach, coaching his daughters on the Rebels and Chaos softball teams.
He is survived by his wife, Destiny; daughters, Madison, Mackenzie and Makaylah; son, Brennan; brothers, John and Jim Kluken of Oregon City; sister-in-law, Jaime Rowlett of Molalla.
A service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Molalla Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Max Jetton officiating.
Burial will be at Adams Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to West Coast Bank, Molalla branch.

William Roy McKay
William Roy McKay, 81, died Dec. 4, 2009, at Hopewell House in Portland.
He was born on May 31, 1928 in St. Johns, Wash to Frank and Irene McKay. He attended grammar school in Colfax, Wash., before moving to California in 1938.
He married Susan McKay on Sept. 17, 1983, in Lake Tahoe, Nev. He owned and operated the waste disposal site in Kettleman, Calif., and retired from waste management as the western regional manager in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Aubrey Merdalo; son, Brandon Merdalo, all of Canby. He has seven grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Clubhouse Bar and Grill at the Charbonneau Golf Course.

Rosemary Cruzan Neal
Rosemary Cruzan Neal, 87, died Dec. 4, 2009.
She was born on March 11, 1922, in Tuscola., Ill. She was employed as a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service.
Neal is survived by her husband, Maurice; daughters, Margaret and Janet; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is scheduled at noon Friday, Dec. 11, at Cornwell Colonial Chapel at Wilsonville. A private interment takes place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
