The Wilsonville girls basketball program will hold its
second annual Christmas tree and wreath sale
starting with presale events at Lamb’s Wilsonville Thriftway, 8255 S.W. Wilsonville Road, and the Wilsonville Albertson’s, 30299 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, at Saturday, Nov. 7, 14 and 21, during business hours. All proceeds benefit the girls basketball program. “Saving, Planning and Paying for College,”
a workshop for students and their parents, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Wilsonville High School, 6800 S.W. Wilsonville Road. Congressman Kurt Schrader will be an honorary host, and a $500 scholarship will be given to one attendee. This event will help families find grants, scholarships and other financial aid. Living Hope Community Church will have its First Fall Bazaar

Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District in partnership with Portland Purple Water is offering
clean, used, food-grade barrels for harvesting rainwater and storing it for later use
. Barrels come with instructions and a list of materials needed to easily convert the barrel. Order a barrel online at www.conservationdistrict.org, or call the District office at 503-655-3144. Orders will be accepted until November 17. Send orders and payment to “Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District,” 221 Molalla Ave., Suite 102, Oregon City, OR 97045.
