TERREBONNE -- A missing Wilsonville man’s vehicle was found last weekend outside Terrebonne, prompting an all-day search of the area that yielded no results, central Oregon news Web site KTVZ.com reported Sunday.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Saturday after a deputy found a vehicle belonging to Jeff Clites Johnson, 22, of Wilsonville, DCSO Lt. Michael Espinoza told KTVZ. Johnson’s personal belongings were found in the vehicle, but when the sheriff’s office attempted to locate and contact the man, they learned his family was filing a missing person’s report with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

After the report was filed, search and rescue volunteers from Deschutes and Jefferson counties began searching the area Sunday. Deschutes County detectives and deputies joined in the 8-hour search of the area where the vehicle was found, but “turned up no evidence or leads as to the location of Johnson,” Espinoza said in a press release. “At this time, there are no indications of foul play with Johnson's disappearance.”

Descriptions of Johnson and his vehicle have not been released, pending further investigative work, KTVZ reported. “We just want to see if anybody has seen or heard from him,” Espinoza said.

Anyone who has information about Johnson’s location or has had recent contact with him should call DCSO detective Scott Beard at 541-617-3393.
