Pump It Up featured in bookstore's October drawing

Those who donate books are entered into the monthly drawing

Pump it Up!’s Laurie Harris (left) drew the winning tickets on Friday, Nov. 6, for the Friends of the Library’s business partnership program. She was joined by Steve Gilmore, CEO of the Wilsonville Chamber, and Suzy Sivyer, president of the Friends group. Each month, a local business agrees to sponsor the program by offering goods and services.

For October, Pump it Up offered gift certificates. Names are entered when local residents donate a bag of books to the Twice-Sold Tales bookstore at the front of the library. In October, the bookstore received 42 entries, said Sivyer. In November, the participating business is Chiropractic Care Centers. Christian and Ana Zyweck have donated two half-hour massages and two free chiropractic exams.
