The Wilsonville Public Library will host the Oregon Humanities Conversation Project from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road. This week’s lecture is entitled
“Marking Our Territory: How to Read Local Land
scapes,”

The Lake Oswego Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host
a production of Charles Dickens’ classic musical “A Christmas Carol”

The
League of Women Voters of Clackamas County
will hold several public meetings to discuss the group’s decision to endorse ballot measures 66 and 67 in the upcoming Jan. 26, 2010, special election. Sarah Allsbrooks of Defend Oregon will speak. The meetings will include one at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Club House at Oswego Point Condominiums on Foothill Drive in Lake Oswego. There also will be meetings in Happy Valley and Welches. St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church is hosting its
Boones Ferry Community Concerts
series this fall, which continues with a performance by Katey Bridge and Kendall Harmon performing Broadway stage music at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the church, 8818 S.W. Miley Road. Windermere/Johnson real estate is holding a clothing drive
from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through Dec. 18 at 31960 S.W. Charbonneau Drive, suite 105. Gently used coats and blankets are sought. The Wilsonville High School
snowboard team is selling Christmas wreaths
to raise money for the upcoming season. This will cover transportation, participant fees, coaching and more. starting with presale events at Lamb’s Wilsonville Thriftway, 8255 S.W. Wilsonville Road, and the Wilsonville Albertson’s, 30299 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, on Saturday, Nov. 21, during business hours. All proceeds benefit the girls basketball program. There also will be tree and wreath sales at Wilsonville High School, 6800 S.W. The
I-5 Connection
is an energetic song and dance troupe based in Wilsonville. The group is now welcoming newcomers of all ages. The group meets every Thursday from 10 a.m.-noon at the Wilsonville Community Center, 7955 S.W. Wilsonville Road. Director is Jocelyn Higgins.
