Police report
Wilsonville Police reported the following incidents. The department is run under contract by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. Incidents are listed by category and in order of time reported. All suspects are legally innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

ARRESTED
Valery Naumov, 25, Mount Angel – He was arrested at 2:33 am. Oct. 1, 22500 block, S. Airport Road, Aurora, and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and a parole violation. The stolen car, a silver-over-blue 1998 Acura Integra, belonged to a Wilsonville resident.
Zachary Dean Fletcher, 32, Canby – He was arrested at 11:42 a.m. Oct. 2, 9100 block, S.W. Wilsonville Road, and charged with driving while suspended (misdemeanor). He was booked into Clackamas County Jail, cited and released.
James Darrin Leslie, 43, Vancouver, Wash. – He was arrested at 9 p.m. Oct. 2, northbound Interstate-5 at Wilsonville Road, and charged with driving while suspended (misdemeanor). He was driving with no headlights. He was booked into Clackamas County Jail, cited and released.
Patrick James Apodaca, 26, Wilsonville – He was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Oct. 3, 29200 block, S.W. Tami Loop, and held for two counts of failure to perform the duties of a driver/person injured, and an outstanding warrant for previous charges of DUII and reckless driving. He was booked into Clackamas County Jail, with bail set at $75,000.
Kimberly Tonette Canales, 45, Wilsonville – She was arrested at 4 p.m. Oct. 3, 30200 block, S.W. Boones Ferry Road, and charged with harassment. She was accused of kicking a transient. Canales was booked into Clackamas County Jail, cited and released.
Lisa Palafox Nguyen, 35, Wilsonville – She was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Oct. 3, 30100 block, S.W. Brown Road, and charged with a probation violation for second-degree theft. She was booked into Clackamas County Jail. Beaverton has jurisdiction, with bail set at $10,000.
Ted Joseph Weiss, 41, Molalla – He was arrested at 1:24 a.m. Oct. 5, 29600 block, S.W. Town Center Loop West, and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. He registered a .10 blood alcohol percentage. Weiss was booked into Clackamas County Jail, cited and released.

THEFT
Sept. 5, 10100 block, S.W Commerce Circle – About 100 pounds of scrap aluminum, worth $75, were stolen from a dump bin kept in the parking lot behind a metal fabrication business, sometime during the previous weekend.
Sept. 29, 30500 S.W. Ruth Street – Three recently-purchased college textbooks, valued at $150, and a backpack were taken from an unlocked car overnight.
Sept. 30, 8400 block, S.W. Main Street – A woman reported nearly $300 in unauthorized charges on her credit card the morning after she used it at Wankers Corner Saloon. She remembered giving the card to the waitress, but never remembered getting it back. The five transactions had taken place in the Beaverton area.
Sept. 30, 31100 block, S.W. Chia Loop – A car stereo was taken from an unlocked vehicle sometime during the night. Loss value: $250.
Sept. 30, 8300 block, S.W. Wilson Lane – A Wilsonville resident reported a theft of identity when she discovered two unauthorized charges on her bank account at NewEgg.com. The first charge was for $633.33 for five hard drives, and the second was for $73.99 for a security cable. The victim still has her debit card.
Sept. 30, 25800 block, S.W. Canyon Creek Road – Several small items were stolen overnight from an unlocked car parked in an apartment complex.
Oct. 1, 9800 block, S.W. Wilsonville Road – Two suspects ordered $20 of gas, then left without paying. They were driving an older gold Cadillac, and had loitered and panhandled for money at the station for several hours.
Oct. 6, 30100 block, S.W. Orepac Ave. – A theft of identity was reported to have occurred between April 23 and June 1, 2007. A Hillsboro resident and the Merced Police Department are mentioned.

FRAUDULENT USE OF A CREDIT CARD
Oct. 1, 29000 block, S.W. Meek Loop – A Wilsonville resident was contacted by her credit card company regarding two suspicious charges, both over the Internet, for $157 and $30. The account has been closed.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A VEHICLE
Sept. 30, 30400 block, S.W. Rogue Lane – A silver-over-blue 1998 Acura Integra was stolen overnight. The victim said the car was secured. Loss value: $5,500.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Oct. 1, 11200 block, S.W. Wilsonville Road – Graffiti was found on the outside of the CREST building, which was discovered by a custodian at 7 a.m. A panda bear and rabbit were pictured.

FOUND PROPERTY
Sept. 30, 30900 S.W. Parkway Avenue – A Wilsonville resident found a green-handled switchblade knife, which she had found in the driveway. The knife was open and appeared to be broken as it would not close.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
Sept. 29, S.W. Wilsonville Road at S.W. Edmiston Road – A truck, completed stripped of its engine, steering column, dash, radio, seats, floor coverings, doors and bed, was found by about 6:30 p.m. by a patrolling sergeant. The VIN plate had been torn off as well.
Oct. 2, 25400 block, S.W. 95th Avenue – A truck stolen out of Tigard was discovered by a deputy on routine patrol through Holiday Inn, about 1:30 a.m. The key was still in the ignition, but the truck appeared to be in good condition. The truck was towed and the owners were notified.
