Looking back
This book was produced by Mick Scott, in conjunction with the Wilsonville Spokesman and the Canby Herald.
If you haven’t purchased your copy of “Looking Back/The Land at Eden’s Gate,” it’s not too late. And now, Steve Turner, retired director of the Wilsonville Public Library, has painstakingly indexed the entire book.
“He generously volunteered to take on the monumental project of indexing the book,” said publisher Mick Scott. “His work provides a wonderful guide for anyone who seeks information on our historic area.”
The index is a ready and thorough reference to all names, communities, places and subject matter contained in the book. “Looking Back” is a photographic guide to Wilsonville, Canby, Aurora, Butteville and other areas in our community. It provides a much-needed historical record of our area and is a m
ust-have for anyone with a new or existing tie to our communities.
The Wilsonville Spokesman and Canby Herald are selling the books now at $24 each, 40 percent off the retail price. Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Spokesman: 503-682-3935. Herald: 503-266-6831.
