Wilsonville Police reported the following incidents. The department is run under contract with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. Incidents are listed by category and in order of time reported. All suspects are legally innocent until proved guilty in court.
Arrests
Steven R. Saldana, 27, of Wilsonville
– Arrested at 12:51 a.m. on Jan. 26 in the 30200 block of S.W. Thomas Street on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants - drugs. He also was cited for failure to carry or present a drivers license. His 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup was impounded and Saldana was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail before being cited and released. His blood alcohol content was measured at
.00.
Aaron Michael Coghill, 20, of Wilsonville
– Arrested at 11:37 p.m. on Jan. 27 on a charge of fourth-degree assault after he allegedly inflicted injuries on a 23-year-old male subject during an altercation in the 29600 block of S.W. Park Place. The victim and witness named Coghill as a suspect for police and he was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail before being cited and released.
Ian M. Holmes, 35, of Tualatin
– Arrested at 1:59 a.m. on Jan. 28 at the intersection of S.W. Courtside Drive and S.W. Town Center Loop East on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants after he was stopped less than a block from the Wilsonville Police station. The arresting officer seized a bottle of Double Dog Dare wine and two 24 ounce cans of High Gravity malt liquor from inside the suspect’s 2002 Chevy Tahoe. He also faces an outstanding warrant charging him with DUII, and also was cited for driving while suspended. He was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail and later cited and released. The SUV was impounded.
Jaramey Logan Humble, 23, transient
– Arrested at 5:44 p.m. on Jan. 28 in the 25900 block of S.W. Heather Place on outstanding warrants from Yamhill County charging him with second- and third-degree theft and failure to appear in court. He also was cited for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail with bail set at a total of $100,000.
Kristine Rose House, 34, of Wilsonville
– Arrested at 3:07 p.m. on Jan. 29 at her residence on S.W. Bryton Court on outstanding warrants from Clackamas County charging her with hit and run – injury, fourth-degree assault, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear in court. She was lodged without incident in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.
Krysta Lynn Huches, 19, transient
– Arrested at 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 29 at the intersection of S.W. Wilsonville Road and Interstate 5 on an outstanding warrant from Multnomah County charging her with third-degree theft. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail with bail set at $1,234.
Jose Merino Alvarez, 18, of Portland
– Arrested at 4:57 p.m. on Jan. 30 at Fry’s Electronics after allegedly being caught shoplifting items worth $50 or less. He was cited and released.
Dustin Robert Hakala, 32, of Portland
– Arrested at 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 25900 block of S.W. Heather place on a charge of first-degree theft, a felony. Police allege Hakala was caught shoplifting merchandise worth $750 or more from the Wilsonville Costco. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail with bail set at $15,000.
Robert Lee Horn, 24, of Wilsonville
– Arrested at 12:41 a.m. on Feb. 1 near the intersection of S.W. Wilsonville Road and S.W. Rose Lane on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants after he was stopped for failure to use his headlights. He was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail, where he refused a breath test. His 2005 Nissan Frontera was impounded, while .45 and .380 caliber semiautomatic handguns, along with a set of brass knuckles, were impounded for safekeeping.
Burglary
Feb. 1, 28600 block of S.W. Morningside Avenue
– A homeowner watching television at 12:30 a.m. went to his garage to retrieve a phone charger and interrupted a masked male subject ransacking the family’s van. The homeowner yelled at the intruder, who fled the garage through a side door before running up Morningside Avenue. The homeowner gave chase but quickly gave up pursuit to return home and call 911.
A responding officer then spotted a male subject walking north on Canyon Creek Road and approached with his lights off. The man spotted the patrol car and immediately turned around and fled southbound before turning east into a field and jumping a fence and disappearing in the darkness. A quick search was mounted but quickly called off due to lack of manpower.
Nothing was missing from the van except the homeowner’s wife’s purse, which was found lying in the street in front of their house, apparently dropped by the fleeing burglar.
Theft
Jan. 26, 29300 block of S.W. Charlotte Lane
– Two Nikon Coolpix digital cameras were reported stolen from a residence sometime between Dec. 10-13 of last year. The victim identified a possible suspect for police, but declined to actually name the person for fear of retribution against the victim and the victim’s children. Investigation was suspended.
Jan. 26, 29800 block of S.W. Montebello Drive
– A child’s bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a residence sometime between 4:30-6 p.m. No suspects identified.
Jan. 27, 6700 block of S.W. Fernbrook Court
– A 2008 Honda Element and a Toyota pickup parked at this location both were broken into. Insurance and registration documents were reported missing. No suspects identified.
Jan. 27, 6800 block of S.W. Glenwood Court
– A locked minivan was broken into sometime between 11 a.m. on Jan. 26 and 7 a.m. on Jan 27 and a briefcase containing a Walther P22 .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol and YHM Wraith silencer, as well as a Canon digital camera were stolen from inside. No suspects were identified.
Jan. 27, 6800 block of S.W. Hollybrook Court
– An unlocked 2006 Chevrolet Suburban was entered sometime during the previous night and a bottle of medication stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 27, 28600 block of S.W. Crestwood Drive
– A Nissan Sentra was broken into sometime overnight and insurance paperwork stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 27, 30000 block of S.W. Town Center Loop West
– A wallet was stolen from an unsecured gym bag while the victim was showering at Bally’s Total Fitness. Cash and assorted cards were lost. No suspects identified.
Jan. 27, 7000 block of S.W. Glenwood Court
– A vehicle was broken into overnight at this location and $10 worth of loose change stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 30900 block of Sandy Court
– Sometime overnight a vehicle was entered and loose change stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 8600 block of S.W. Holly Lane
– Sometime overnight a vehicle was broken into and $10 of loose change stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 8500 block of S.W. Miami Street
– Two unlocked vehicles were entered and ransacked at a residence. A purse with identification, debit cards, check book, prescription medication and cash were stolen from inside one of the vehicles. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 6900 block of Hollybrook Court
– An unlocked vehicle was broken into and ransacked. Nothing appeared to be stolen. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 8500 block of S.W. Miami Street
– An unlocked vehicle was entered and loose change worth $5 stolen from inside. No suspects identified.
Jan. 29, 8500 block of S.W. Miami Street
– An unlocked vehicle was entered and ransacked and several dollars of loose change stolen. A set of golf clubs and an mp3 player were left behind. No suspects identified. This was the fourth vehicle illegally entered on this street during the previous night and early morning.
Feb. 1, 7400 block of S.W. Bouchaine Court
– A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car parked in an open garage sometime overnight. The theft was discovered when the victim was contacted by the person who found the wallet discarded in a nearby street and wanted to return it. No suspects identified.
Feb. 1, 30500 block of S.W. Rose Lane
– An unlocked vehicle parked in an open garage was entered and ransacked some time overnight. $15 in cash was stolen. No suspects identified.
Feb. 1 29000 block of S.W. Courtside Drive
– An unlocked vehicle was entered some time overnight and $5 in loose change stolen. No suspects identified.
Feb. 1, 7000 block of S.W. Montgomery Way
– Two vehicles in a locked garage were entered and ransacked after the burglar apparently used a garage remote control left in a third unlocked vehicle in the driveway. Nothing appeared stolen however. No suspects identified.
Feb. 1, 7600 block of S.W. Wimbledon Circle
– An empty soda can and 30 cents in change were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at some point overnight. No suspects identified.
Feb. 1, 7800 block of S.W. Grass Court
– A 1993 Acura Integra was broken into and $12 in cash stolen from inside at some time during the previous night. No suspects identified.
Criminal Mischief
Jan. 21, 9400 block of S.W. Wilsonville Road
– Gang-related graffiti was reportedly applied to a SMART bus shelter at this location. No suspects identified.
