WES on schedule
WES trains arriving and departing from Wilsonville will be on schedule for Thursday, Feb. 18.
A mechanical problem on one WES train that sidelined some service this morning has been fixed.
According to Bekki Witt, Tri-Met spokesperson, a connection to an engine switch was loose, causing the engine not to run properly.
WES trains will provide all service for the evening commute.
When trains are down, TriMet provides shuttle buses. Commuters should plan to add an extra 30 minutes to their travel time when this occurs.
WES trains were down 15 times during 2009.
