Denise Burnham, compounding pharmacist, is offering a free seminar at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Creative Compounds, 8560 S.W. Salish Lane, Suite 100. This event will assist women clear up confusion and myths surrounding menopause and answer questions about their health. The Wilsonville Public Library will host Magic Tree House Club for kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Oak Room at the library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road. Free, open to the public. This month's meeting will talk about "Ghost Town at Sundown," as kids will travel through time and around the world with games, crafts and snacks. How adoption of the Clackamas County Library District in November 2008 has affected our libraries will be the topic for three meetings of the League of Women Voters of Clackamas County. Meetings are at: 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at 16836 Cherry Crest Drive, Lake Oswego; 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at the Willamette View Plaza building, 12895 S.E. The Wilsonville Public Library is hosting "Teen Check-Out," a program for kids in sixth through 12th grade, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in the Oak Room at the library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road. The Wilsonville Public Library will host a "Renaissance Art" lecture at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, in the Oak Room at the library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road. A Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Mini Workshop will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Wellspring, 1475 Mount Hood Avenue, Woodburn. Seasonal affective disorder is a type of depression. The Wilsonville Public Library will continue the Northwest Authors Series at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at the library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road, with a talk by non-fiction author Cindy Hudson titled "The Nonfiction Book." Dr. Elliot Eisenberg, senior economist for the National Association of Home Builders, will present the findings of his study, "Does Growth Pay For Itself? Changes in campaign financing resulting from the recent Supreme Court decision is the topic of the Feb. 26 "Lunch and Learn" meeting of the League of Women Voters of Clackamas County. The meeting will start at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Szechuan Kitchen, 15450 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, Lake Oswego. Common Cause Oregon's executive director Janice Thompson will speak. The Wilsonville High School baseball and softball programs will host the fifth annual "Cowboy Up" fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Langdon Farms Golf Club, 24377 N.E. Airport Road, Aurora. This year's event will again feature dinner, card and dice games, a silent and oral auction and more. St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church is hosting its Boones Ferry Community Concerts series this fall, which continues at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, with a performance by In Muleribus singing music composed before 1750, at the church, 8818 S.W. The Wilsonville Public Library is holding "Food for Fines in February," a chance for library patrons to pay down any overdue book fines they have accumulated. Each can or box of food could be worth 50 cents in credit toward fines, subject to staff approval. All food goes to Wilsonville Community Sharing. Details: 503-682-2744.

Free federal and state income tax forms are available at the Wilsonville Public Library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Road, during normal business hours: Mon-Thurs., 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Fri-Sat. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sun. 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. This will last through the filing deadline on April 15.
