My cellphone buzzed with a text message from Wilsonville boys basketball coach Chris Roche.
“Were you at our game today?”
It was a Saturday evening earlier this month, and the Wildcats had defeated West Albany that morning to earn fourth place at the Class 5A state tournament in Eugene.
