Tom Hughes is running for the position of Metro president. He was endorsed by the chamber board last week.

Undemocratic.That’s the word some Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce members are calling the new candidate endorsement policy.On the same week the chamber opted to endorse Tom Hughes for Metro president, controversy about the new policy bubbled up again at its government affairs committee meeting.This time, Charbonneau Country Club representative Tony Holt brought forward concerns to the group as to why the entire chamber members isn’t being asked to vote on chamber endorsements.
